Isabel Watterson
Hometown: Wanaka

Isabel lives in Wanaka with her family. She began skiing at 18 months old and was ripping around TC by the age of 2 1/2. She began ski racing at the age of 5 and since then has been lucky to compete and make many podiums in youth competitions both in New Zealand and overseas.
Isabel's dream is to be competitive on the world cup circuit and represent New Zealand at the Winter Olympics but for now its one step at a time. She concentrates on improving a little each day and staying committed to her full training programme on and off snow.

My best achievements from the 24/25 season are:
2024 New Zealand national u16 champion
Ranked number 1 in New Zealand national points
3rd place u16 slalom Zagreb international FIS children’s race
3rd place u16 giant slalom Zagreb international FIS children’s race
5th place u16 giant slalom interkriterium Vratna international FIS children's race
