Cooper Arkell

My name is Cooper Arkell and I am 17 years old and live in Wanaka. I train at Treble Cone with HPC in Freeride with Sam Lee and Ben Richards. I compete in the NZJFT with my best result being a 2nd at the Remarks and a 3rd at TC a couple of years ago.
For the last 2 Northern Hemisphere winters I have trained with the Whistler Freeirde Club under Derek Foose. I have really enjoyed my time training and doing competitions in Canada and just over the boarder in America. My best result was a 5th at Stevens Pass and an 11th in the Whistler 3 star. The competitions there are super hard as there are over 100 people entering, and everything is based on ranking points.
I am looking to continue my Freeride, extend my skiing ability and I hope to represent NZ I have really enjoyed meeting so many people from all around the world through my skiing and have made some really good friends.
