Olivia Hein

I'm a freeskier, born in Golden, BC, Canada, and I started skiing at the age of 9 months, as soon as I could walk. I was raised in Queenstown and Wanaka, holding dual citizenship in both Canada and New Zealand. I devote as much time as possible to the mountains, and while I compete in freeskiing, I'm equally comfortable on steep slopes and on a snowboard. My aim is to make my mountain time as enjoyable as possible whilst i train to one day represent NZ. My most significant accomplishments to date in the 23/24 season include: - Gold in the Rail Jam at the NZ Freestyle Nationals, finishing 2nd Overall. - Top Ranked U14 in British Columbia, Canada, with a 1st place in Big Air and 2nd in Slopestyle at the BC Championships. - 3rd place finishes in Slopestyle and Halfpipe at the Canadian Nationals.
